Roksonaki是一支组建近三十年的哈萨克斯坦老牌乐队。早期以摇滚风为主，曾获得哈萨克斯坦著名音乐节“Azia Dawsi”（亚洲之声）大奖。河现场以及民谣风时期的IZ、马木尔，还有很多哈萨克乐队都受过他们的影响。 在哈萨克斯坦音乐市场急剧萎缩之后，乐队也一度陷入困境，乐队成员在稳定为Ruslan（主唱兼吉他），Galemjan（杰特根、呼麦及和声），Yerlan（库布孜）的三人组合之后，转而改编传统哈萨克民谣和融入萨满因素的新式民族音乐，但并不拘泥于根源的哈萨克民族音乐，就像乐队灵魂人物Ruslan所说，他们只是根据自己对哈萨克民族文化的理解来做音乐。不做宣传采访，不赴婚宴邀约，靠个人的工作生活，音乐只为满足自己。2013年库布孜手Yerlan离队，乐队进入半地下的状态，演出以在阿拉木图本地的livehouse为主。乐队在北美的经纪人Hellen Faller女士创立的独立音乐厂牌Mosaiqa Records曾出品过两张音乐专辑《Evolution》和《NAURYZ》，并策划了横跨美国的巡演。

这几位引领哈萨克当代民族音乐的老将，25年来到访过20多个国家，起起伏伏，如今老而弥坚。

Ancient Nomadic Kazakh Ethno-Folks: ROKSONAKI
Bringing the 13th century into dialogue with the 21st, Roksonaki's unique sound fluently and joyfully combines elements of ancient nomadic Kazak traditions -- reed flutes and throat-singing -- with contemporary rock and jazz. Roksonaki are musically fluid and as at home playing rock and roll as they are improvising new classical motifs with Yo-Yo Ma. Watching the ease with which they create new sounds leaves you wondering why no one ever thought of this before.
at 2013, after Yerlan left the band, the ROKSONAKI duo keep playing some old ancient nomadic kazakh folks.
