Michel Marang is a renowned clarinetist from Amsterdam, The Netherlands, who tirelessly travels around the world to promote contemporary music. Despite having worked with some of the world’s top composers, Michel is more interested in meeting new local heroes, breeding and creating unexpected results. As a photographer and composer, such collaborations diverge in all directions.

About Blind Perspectives

Blind Perspectives is a collection of electronic musical pieces, combined with a live performing clarinet. The perception is manipulated by the photo sequences that are simultaneously projected – introverted or extroverted, colour or black and white – the resulting performance isn’t film music, but “musical film” –sound and image in balanced harmony. But don’t hope for too familiar sounds, you’ll have your ears (and eyes, for that matter) washed in one way or another.
