The rising of vinyls advocates the prosperity of underground scene. CD, USB and digital softwares indeed provide convenience for djs, yet many djs still prefer playing vinyls.

黑胶唱片是记录音乐音质最好的载体。很多早前的稀有音乐便以黑胶唱片为载体，只能从世界各地的唱片店亲手淘到。热爱digging的selector们甚至走遍全球，在大大小小的唱片店亲手挑选出每一张都真心赋予热爱的黑胶唱片。

Vinyls are the best carrier for recorded music and providing the best music quality. Many rare music in earlier years chose vinyls as the way to store the music nowadays music lovers can only get them in various records stores worldwide. True diggers would go around the globe to handpick their dream vinyls.

用黑胶唱片来进行DJ演出需要娴熟的技术但也更为有趣。一张唱片分为一二三四轨道，喜欢哪个部分的音乐，想从第几分第几秒放到第几分第几秒，完全可以从唱片上看得出摸得着。还可以直接从这上面选择音乐创作，可以瞬间加速、减速，反映非常直接。

Playing vinyls requires adept skills but also provides more fun in the process. One record is split into four tracks. Whichever part is preferred can be selected and played from any minute and second on. The whole process is sensed and concrete, one can touch and feel the music from the record. Speeding up and slowing down can be achieved directly by controlling the vinyl.

来自德国现居上海的 Tobias Patick 以及来自广州现居厦门的 Knopha 便是热爱用黑胶唱片演绎派对现场的资深DJ。3月30日，他们带着珍藏的黑胶唱片为 .TAG 舞池展开好看又好听的多元舞曲之夜！

Tobias Patrick, Germany origin, based in Shanghai and Knopha, Guangzhou origin, based in Xiamen are going to put up vinyls sets. March 30th, they come with their personal vinyls collections to set TAG dancefloor on fire!

TOBISA PATRICK

Tobias Patrick 15余年DJ经历，出生和成长在德国的他，少年时期第一次开始接触电子舞曲，他便迅速的确立了他对techno的选择：在他完成第一次在鲁尔区附近的CLUB演出，便开始了对其他音乐种类如funk、soul、disco、house和其他soulful种类。他的音乐风格受到来自世界各地不同流派艺术家的影响。他的音乐形态不能单单用一种风格来定义——有灵魂，注重音乐情绪，变幻无穷大概是最好的形容。

With 15 years behind the decks having been born and raised in Germany, Tobias Patrick first got in touch with electronic dance music at the tender age of 14. He quickly broadened his horizons towards techno, and after earning his first stripes in clubs around the Ruhr District, he started experimenting with funk, soul, disco, house and other soulful music. His musical influences are too broad to define his style with one word. Soulful, raw and ever-changing would be a way to describe it.

作为黑胶唱片收藏者，他与DJ Lindberg共同创办上海的12 INCHES OF FUN—“黑胶停不下来”系列派对。派对的宗旨是坚持黑胶现场以带来手工艺人般的精致音乐体验。12年多亚洲组织音乐活动的经验，体现了派对的专业性和兼收并蓄的音乐品味。

KNOPHA

Knopha现居厦门来自广州是DJ/制作人，活动厂牌Beatween的联合创始人。他的作品曾被北京独立音乐唱片燃音乐以及上海／东京bass、grime类先锋厂牌Push and Pull发行。创作和混音之余，Knopha一直在尝试进行对跳舞音乐多样性和可能性的探索。从80年代到现今，disco到techno、house，从纽约到芝加哥，底特律，柏林和伦敦， 他在 DJ 的过程中透露出一种独特的视野与哲学，让他成为了亚洲最值得去现场一看的 DJ 之一。

Knopha is a Xiamen based Cantonese DJ/Producer, co-founder of events promoter Beatween. His music has been released by Beijing independent electronic imprint Ran and Shanghai/Tokyo bass and grime frontier ‘Push and Pull’. In either his own production or dj mixes, Knopha always attempt to explore the variety and possibility of dance music, not to be conformed by the usual House and Techno.
