“I actually don‘t think so much about a career, because I really enjoy contributing to quality events – I like being the person who’s trusted enough to provide some, if not all, the music for the night…which of course is just one element. In doing our own events, we really learned that so much effort goes into this sort of cultural production – from bookers, to bartenders and technicians, stellar nights are almost certainly due to collaboration and teamwork.”

CEM来自土耳其，坐标柏林。他对混音的从容和精准为人称道。他的音乐容纳了躁热的底特律调和而出的electro，成熟且层次分明的techno，以及英国bass和Acid House。欣快而感性，CEM的set是音乐的繁星式累加，高度打磨，最终锤打出为舞池而生的节奏美学。

Cem is a Berlin-based musician and producer originally from Istanbul. CEM is regarded best for his sharp mixing and poise, his array of influences ranging from sultry, detroit-influenced electro and complexly layered techno, reaching into UK Bass and towards Acid House. Euphoric and emotional, CEM’s sets are stellar constructions of musical overlay, highly polished and oriented towards the dance floor first and foremost.

CEM（本名Cem Dukkha）最初受到年轻时期的硬核朋克和金属音乐的影响，18岁时进入地下场景，他发现了沉重和重复的暗黑之声techno。为了巩固他作为音乐家的兴趣和野心他移居柏林，与在维也纳的techno派对中遇到的一群锐舞者组建了Herrensauna。

Initially inspired by hardcore punk and death metal in his younger years, the CEM – real name Cem Dukkha – turned to techno when he tapped into the underground scene at the age of 18, and found that the heavy and repetitive sounds he was influenced by could be found in techno, too. Moving to Berlin to fortify his interests and ambitions as a musician, Herrensauna – formed with a collective of ravers he met at techno parties in Vienna.

柏林是俱乐部的天堂，也是性解放的前沿。Herrensauna（意为“男士桑拿”），这个三年前诞生的系列派对，可以说是这座自由之城对于自由的定义的一种新的注解。顾名思义，它的灵感来自于过去的男士桑拿浴池文化，用那种被水蒸气笼罩着、汗水浸湿的氛围来比喻如今的俱乐部场景。Herrensauna每两月都会在Tresor俱乐部举起自由的大旗。每个去过Tresor的人都知道，这个俱乐部文化的先锋阵地其实跟Herrensauna荷尔蒙满满的理念是完全合拍的。如果你恰巧身在Herrensauna的派对上，可能满眼皆是

Berlin is known as clubbing paradise. It is the frontier of sexual liberation. Herrensauna (meaning “men's sauna”), a label that was born three years ago, and it is a new annotation to the definition of freedom in this city of freedom. As its name suggests, it is inspired by the culture of the men's sauna in the past, using the atmosphere of sweating as the analogy of the current club scene. Every other month, Herrensauna hosts parties at Tresor in the name of freedom. Everyone who has been to Tresor knows that the pioneering position of this club is in full harmony with the Herrensauna concept. If you happen to be at the Herrensauna party, you might witness naked bodies, all kinds of fetish symbols but that is definitely not the ultimate goal.

Techno，就像是柏林夜生活中的通用语言，Herrensauna也不例外。不过，为了模拟桑拿房里雾气氤氲的潮湿环境，创造出一种暧昧、模糊、浓稠的能量声场，Herrensauna在演出阵容的Booking上更加严苛。他们看重Modern Techno中原始、粗粝、不拘小节的成分，并选择出这么一小撮在Techno场景的主流视野之外的音乐人，邀请他们一同来给这座城市略显单一的派对场景注入新的趣味。吸引到了像Hector Oaks，Matrixxman，Cadency等坐阵。

Techno is the universal language in Berlin's nightlife, and Herrensauna is no exception. However, in order to simulate the misty and humid environment in the sauna and to create a fuzzy and energetic soundscape, Herrensauna is very demanding on the selection of the lineup. They cherish the original, rough, and informal elements in the modern Techno and choose a selective group of artists who are not in the mainstream vision of the Techno scene. Herrensauna invites them to instill originality and extra fun into the monotonous party scene, attracting talents like Hector Oaks, Matrixxman, Cadency and so on.

作为如今无处不在的Herrensauna派对的联合创始人和重要驻场，他每月在Tresor露面吸引了无数当地人和其他音乐推广者，除了自己的派对，他还经常为志同道合的活动站场，倾心尽力为音乐社区出力。

As co-founder and leading resident of the now omnipresent Herrensauna parties, his monthly appearances at Tresor have garnered the attention of locals and fellow promoters, often appearing as a guest for like-minded events, fostering his commitment to community-building.

除了俱乐部表演外，CEM目前正在准备一个特别的3件式黑胶唱片，与Matrixxman，Historical Repeater和Hector Oaks等主流dj合作发行，将于2019年春季发布。

Apart from club performances, CEM is currently preparing a special 3-piece vinyl compilation with mainstays such as Matrixxman, Historical Repeater and Hector Oaks to be released in Spring 2019.

CEM digs into the past, present and future for new rhythms. Inverted-Audio paises him as "providing sonic perspective by flying the flag of the party in countries such as Austria, Russia and Spain. Between his intrinsically unique dance floor sets, CEM weaves a path in clubs worldwide that tantalise and delight the scenes – hedonistic yet humbling invocations that tickle the mind and body simultaneously."

被柏林的自由，包容和创造力所吸引，他四年前定居于此。作为黑胶唱片的痴迷者，他决定将厂牌发展为以古思今展望未来之声的利器。在Tresor的锅炉房经典演出让他越发炙手，在这次中国之行后，下一站将是澳洲。没能去过他Tresor演出的朋友怎能错过。

He moved to Berlin about four years ago. DJing was the major role for the decision as Berlin is very liberal,  tolerant and creative. As a vinyl-enthusiast, he decided to develope the label as a solo project to better focus on material that encompass the present, but also points towards a future. After his epic Boiler Room set in Tresor, he is even more desirable than he already was. After this China small tour, he is going to be in Australia as well.
