国人厂牌Do Hits是今年出现频率极高的一个名词——从世界著名的地下派对直播频道Boiler Room，到最潮的在线音乐杂志Hypetrak，再到伦敦至关重要的电台Rinse FM……发行了近10张数字唱片，刚刚结束了历史性的“Motherland”全国巡演，他们即将开始新的旅程。中国最具潜力的制作人Jason Hou与Do Hits创始人之一Guzz，在新合辑《Do Hits Vol.4》与Jason Hou全新个人EP发行之际，将带着他们的最新音乐从北京出发，把“Do Hits制造”的独特声音直接注入8个中国城市的舞池。

Beijing-based collective/label Do Hits has been one of 2016’s hottest topics. From underground music home Boiler Room, to online music magazine Hypetrak, then to London’s essential Rinse FM, they are to be found nearly everywhere. Having brought out 10 digital releases and completed the epic “Motherland”Tour, they are ready for a brand-new journey. With the latest compilation Do Hits Vol.4 and Jason Hou’s new EP coming out, China’s most promising producer Jason Hou, together with Do Hits’ co-founder Guzz, is setting off from Beijing, bringing their freshest sound to 8 cities around China.

侯珺硕 (Jason Hou) 是一名来自北京的音乐制作人与作曲者，曾赴加拿大学习录音艺术，参与过古典、流行、金属、民乐、电子等多个领域的音乐制作项目，14年回国后专注创作融合中国元素的电子音乐。他曾为Plastician在英国著名地下电台Rinse FM的节目“Sound of China”制作了guest mix，他的音乐也被鼓大师Jojo Mayer和著名厂牌Mad Decent推荐。Jason为Nu Desine公司的MIDI控制器AlphaSphere制作的演奏视频在Facebook上获得上千万次的浏览。他参与研发的合成器插件Wiggle一经推出即获得了海内外用户好评。

Jason Hou is a music producer and composer from Beijing. He has diverse experiences working across a wide range of genres like Classical, Pop, Metal, Ethnic and Electronic music. After studying and working in Canada for 8 years, he returned to Beijing to focus on producing electronic music that incorporates Chinese elements. From mid 2015, Jason joined local producer/DJ collective and label “Do Hits” and has already played a dozen shows in Beijing, Chengdu and Shanghai, with acts like Jubei, SP:MC, Plastician and artists of Soulection. He has published music in all 3 Do Hits compilations. Recently he has done a guest mix for Plastician’s “Sound of China” show on Rinse FM. His music was also recommended by Jojo Mayer and has mentioned on Mad Decent's blog. His performance video of the AlphaSphere, a MIDI controller made by British company Nu Desine, has gained more than 10 million views on Facebook. His co-developed software synth plugin Wiggle is also well-received by users from around the world.

Guzz 是居住在北京的电子乐制作人和 DJ，北京电子乐组织Do Hits的成员。从2008年开始活跃在中国电子音乐场景中。从Electro/Techno/Acid到现在的跨风格Beat, 他在音乐制作和DJ上不停的寻找新的突破。早些年他在山水唱片发行了《Subway》和《Across the Shadow》两张个人EP,是当时国内屈指可数的Acid/Techno唱片,吸引了国内此类音乐乐迷的关注。此后,他在小众电子乐厂牌 87 非 87 发行了风格迥异的唱片《从沙漠到月球》则代表了他在音乐风格上的一些新的尝试。从2015年开始,他新的作品开始出现在Do Hits合辑当中,并被Plastician在其Rinse FM的节目中播放。Guzz曾与Boysnoize，Ratatat，Bok Bok，Mumdance，Plastician等人同台演出。在制作音乐和DJ之外,他还参与运营策划了Do Hits系列派对、制作人沙龙、唱片发行等一系列活动。

Beijing-based DJ/producer Guzz is the co-founder of the label/collective Do Hits. With an evolving style in production and DJing, from Electro/Techno/Acid to cross-genre experiment, he has been active on China's electronic music scene since 2008. His early EPs Subway and Across the Shadow, were some of the earliest Acid/Techno releases back then in China. His later From Desert to the Moon EP on the alternative label 87 FEI 87, marks a new stage of his experiment on genres. In 2015, he started to put out tracks on Do Hits Compilations, and his music was broadcast on London’s Rinse FM. Guzz has shared stage with international acts such as Boysnoize, Ratatat, BokBok, Mumdance, Plastician. He is also involved in organization of Do Hits parties, Beat Makers producer salons, digital publishing etc.
