Noah Hocker出生在美国波特兰的一个音乐世家，10岁在母亲的鼓励下尝试小号，16岁起师从爵士大师Alan Jones学习爵士演奏便一发而不可收，从此认定音乐就是命中注定的那个“她”。高中毕业以后进入了费城Temple大学爵士表演专业，师从美国著名爵士音乐家、小号演奏家Terrell Stafford。研究生毕业后搬到纽约开始了职业音乐人生活。长期固定合作全球巡演的爵士乐队有Gordon Webster、Michael Gamble和他的节奏小夜曲，Jonathan Stout和Hot Sardines爵士乐团。2017年他被西班牙马德里“世界即兴”授予年度最佳独奏者称号。2017年他推出了他自己创作的第一张现代爵士专辑“Common Thread》。Noah Hocker是一位多才多艺且全面发展的音乐人。内心对爵士乐充满了深深的崇敬。对他来说热爱就是不停创作和表演，用音符去表达情绪，表达对这个世界的理解。他的原创Swing Jazz专辑《Head to head》已于2019年11月发行。

Noah Hocker was born in Portland, OR to a musical family. Early on, he knew playing music was his life's purpose. He attended Temple University in Philadelphia where he studied trumpet under the great Terrell Stafford. After graduating with a Master’s degree he moved to New York City. He currently tours the world with several jazz groups, such as the Gordon Webster Band, Michael Gamble, and the Rhythm Serenaders, Jonathan Stout, and the Hot Sardines. In 2017, He was awarded the "Best Soloist" award by a panel of Grammy-winning artists at the World Jam event in Madrid, Spain. Noah has a deep respect for the jazz tradition and embraces all types of jazz music. His first album, entitled "Common Thread," is comprised of all original music. "Common Thread" seeks to reflect stories and emotions of our lives through music, as well as common things that all human beings share. He released an album of original Swing music that he composed and arranged, called “Head to Head.”

Saxophone: 刘晓光

刘晓光是位多才多艺的音乐家，涉及作曲和编曲。曾是腾格尔“苍狼”乐队中的键盘手，小娟&山谷里的居民乐队的口琴和长笛手。在北京二十多年的现场演出中积累大量演出经验，曾经执教于北京现代音乐学院萨克斯讲师。

Tenor saxophonist Liu Xiaoguang is a remarkably versatile performer, composer, and arranger. He also played the keyboard with Teng Ge Er’s Canglang band, and harmonica and flute with Xiao Juan and the Residents from the Valley. His abundant experience spans more than 20 years in live performances in Beijing, as well as teaching saxophone at the Beijing Contemporary Music Academy.

Piano: 牛天宇 (Daniel Niu)

2012年离开北京前往美国洛杉矶求学。常年旅居海外的经历极大丰富了他的音乐背景。2015年毕业于加州大学洛杉矶分校经济学专业，并于次年考入伯克利音乐学院爵士钢琴演奏专业。师从Hal Crook、Ian Froman、Vadim Neselovskyi、Stephany Tiernan、Alain Mallet、Ed Tomassi、Darren Barret、Joanne Brackeen、Doug Johnson、Billy Test、Christian Li、Billy Kilson、Richie Beirach 等爵士乐巨擘。合作过的音乐家包括世界级爵士乐萨克斯演奏家George Garzone、Edmar Colo、爵士鼓演奏家Ian Froman等。多年来在美国和欧洲等地求学演出的经历让他在多种文化的碰撞下，吸纳了不同音乐形式的同时逐渐形成了独特的音乐风格。

In 2012, Daniel left Beijing to study in Los Angeles, USA. The experience of years of living abroad has largely influenced his musical style. In 2015 he graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a degree in economics and entered the Jazz Piano Performance program at Berkeley College of Music the following year. His mentors were Hal Crook, Ian Froman, Vadim Neselovskyi, Stephany Tiernan, Alain Mallet, Ed Tomassi, Darren Barret, Joanne Brackeen, Doug Johnson, Billy Test, Christian Li, Billy Kilson Richie Beirach and other jazz greats.The list of musicians he has collaborated with includes world-class jazz saxophone players George Garzone, Edmar Colo, and drum jazz player Ian Froman. After studying and performing in the United States and Europe and being influenced by various cultures, he has gradually formed his signature music style, blending multiple musical genres into one of his own.

Bass: Harrison Wardley

毕业于澳大利亚墨尔本莫纳什大学音乐学院爵士大贝斯专业。Harrison的音乐生涯早期受到了许多他家乡澳大利亚墨尔本本土爵士乐手的影响，如Ben Robertson、Marc Hannaford、Allan Browne、Sam Anning等。在他职业生涯的后期，他受到了Oscar Peterson三重奏，Ahmad Jamal三重奏以及Miles Davis乐队的极大的影响，并全身心投入到爵士乐学习以及爵士低音提琴的演奏当中。他热爱爵士乐并且尊重爵士乐的历史，在学习爵士乐的过程中始终保持着谦虚的态度。爵士乐对于Harrison而言已经成为了一种生活方式，他十分感恩音乐赋予他的一切。

Graduated from Monash University in Melbourne, Australia. With a degree in Double Bass Jazz Improvisation. His early musical development was influenced by a lot of the great Australian Jazz musicians from his hometown of Melbourne. Such as Ben Robertson, Marc Hannaford, Allan Browne, Sam Anning, etc. Later in life, Harrison was influenced greatly by The Oscar Peterson Trio, Ahmad Jamal Trio, Miles Davis and his bands. As well as many others.

Drums: 高可超 (Kevin Gao)

高可超毕业于伯克利音乐学院，师从世界级的爵士鼓演奏家与教育家Bob Gullotti, Ralph Peterson, Billy Kilson和Francisco Mela。2019年考入伯克利音乐学院Global Jazz Insitute（全球爵士学院），并成为第一个考上此机构的中国本科生。在Global Jazz Insitute创始人Danilo Perez、Joe Lovano、John Patitucci以及Dave Liebman等世界级爵士乐大师的指导下，高可超的演奏理念逐渐成熟。目前活跃于国内各大演出场所，与国内顶尖音乐家合作。在学习和探索爵士乐的独特魅力的同时，从不畏惧挑战自己，勇于尝试不同的理念与风格，长期以来塑造了自己独特的艺术审美和演奏理念。

Kevin graduated from the Berkeley Conservatory of Music, where he studied under the tutelage of world-class jazz drummers and educators including Bob Gullotti, Ralph Peterson, Billy Kilson, and Francisco Mela. In 2019, he became the first Chinese undergraduate to enter the Global Jazz Institute at Berkeley College of Music. Playing under the guidance of world-class jazz masters such as Global Jazz Institute founders Danilo Perez, Joe Lovano, John Patitucci, and Dave Liebman has allowed his musical concepts and philosophy to mature. He is currently active in major domestic performance venues, cooperating with China’s top musicians.
While learning and exploring the unique allures of jazz, he isn’t afraid to challenge himself and experiment with different ideas and styles and over time has shaped his own unique artistic aesthetic.
