吴卓玲以其传奇般的个人经历和杰出的才华成为中国独立音乐界中标志性的女性艺人之一。她集民谣唱作人、电子乐团主唱、音乐制作人、翻译作者、运动员等多重身份于一身，长年活跃于国内外独立音乐的舞台上。她个人的原声音乐作品清新自然，悦耳脱俗；而她作为主创的乐团“星期三旅行”则表现出厚重迷幻，阴沉凶猛的特征，这二者正如两面呼应的镜子，折射出她所创作出的极富个性化的神秘而幽深的音乐世界。

About Wu Zhuoling

A singer-songwriter and music producer from Chengdu China, Wu founded the band Wednesday's Trip in Beijing in 2000. In 2005 she quit the band and moved to Tibet, after two years of reclusive life she returned to Chengdu and restarted her music career, refining her personal style and cooperating with various musicians and producers. She toured all over China and part of Europe, with 6 albums/EPs issued so far by the most influential indie labels in China. The elegant melodies, deep and warm vocals, female perspective story-telling lyrics and mystic tranquil atmosphere always endow her music a pure and unique quality.

On Jan 24th (Sat.) at New Machu Picchu, Wu Zhuoling is going to present an unique live show combining her refreshing and soothing acoustic story-telling songs and the deep and energetic alternative dance music of her band Wednesday's Trip.
