当几乎全世界的俱乐部都把最多的重点放在纯粹的电子乐上时，新加坡的Poptart却开始将更多复古独立摇滚元素融入他们的血液，作为这条新颖道路的先行者，成功的将吸引力和实力两者合一。而我们这次派对的主角KiDG, 作为Poptart和TIKO DISKO的驻场DJ，无疑是给新加坡俱乐部场景带来新鲜气息的先行者！

8月16日，Electric Circus 电场远从新加坡请来KiDG，和我们这里神秘嘉宾Graham Koxon一起，带来你梦寐以求的独立摇滚夜！不管是Oasis或者Blur，中文摇滚金曲还是一些鲜为人知的好乐队，相信你们一定能听到更多他们压箱底的好收藏！

KiDG

KiDG虽是新加坡音乐领域公认的先行者，但就他自身而言，他更多地把自己看作是一个重度音乐爱好者。作为Poptart和Tiko Disko的常驻DJ，他理所当然的对每一个我们可以想象到的音乐流派都有着强烈的兴趣和折衷的品味，而他所在的Poptart，也经历了从专注于传统的俱乐部模式到以独立摇滚作为独特之处的转变。

而KiDG的音乐又绝不仅限于此：从独立摇滚乐、Synth pop、Funk、Soul、Dub、Trippy  Electro到甚至是Italo disco,都在他精确而美妙的混音下呈现出最高涨的现场！你很难预测KIDG的现场会有什么样的惊喜等着你.

在热烈躁动的跳舞音乐方面，你绝对需要相信Poptart和Tiko Disko驻场DJ KIDG的实力，除却纯粹的放克乐，迪斯科等跳舞音乐，更难得的是：

当他放起上个世纪的中文老歌与摇滚金曲时，我们能探嗅到其中的浓郁文化气息和归属的温馨感。

受到众多音乐人例如Erol Alkan、DJ Harvey、Psychemagik和Gilles Peterson的启发，KiDG不仅拥有绝赞音乐品味，演出时更是有着压倒性的王者气势，你可能永远都赢不过他！但不用担心，你只需要在他的音乐里尽情享受！

不过偷偷提一句：如果你在80年代生活过，如果你在现已不复存在的Supreme Records买过几盒磁带，可能当时给你结账的人就是KiDG. 如果是在90年代，他很可能就是当时那个告诉你在HMV买了张烂唱片的人。但往事不重提，现在对于KIDG来说更重要的是未来。虽说如此，但他危险的复古倾向却一直没有改变，你可能从他的音乐里听到从1979年就开始风行的好歌，甚至你的父母都可以感同身受！

Contrary to some in the community attesting that he is an Indie Prophet, KiDG sees himselfmore as a Music Schizo. Not surprising for the resident DJ of POPTART and TIKO DISKO,who professes to have an obsessive appetite and eclectic taste in every imaginable genreof music that runs a gamut from indie rock, synth-pop, funk, soul, dub, trippy electro andeven Italo Disco. A typical gig night with KiDG in the cockpit is hardly typical – consideringthe unpredictable heady cocktail blend he’ll whip up. Inspired by the likes of 2 Many DJs,Erol Alkan, DJ Harvey, Psychemagik and Gilles Peterson, you can’t beat the brutal simplicity

f the man’s holy mantra in the complex world of music “Just have a bloody good time.”

KiDG’s Rock N Roll resume includes drumming for a few notable local bands such asLivonia, Shelves and most recently Typewriter. The “Groove” is hence strong in this one.If you lived in the 80s, he may have served you when you bought a couple of cassettesat the now defunct Supreme Records; if you survived the 90s, he could have been the guywho lectured you about the lousy record you bought at HMV. But that was yesterday;watch out now as KiDG hails from Generation X. This means the man has dangerous retrotendencies to play something from way back 1979 or something that will make yourdad head bang, and your mum get jiggy with it.
