Giegling一直以其标志性风格不断突破着界限，他们将接管2020年新春音乐节的最后两天。多年以来，这个德国久负盛名的音乐团队与TAG建立了深厚的友谊，他们不仅将极简，忧郁之声带入TAG，甚至在2018年保利中心再次闭幕期间与我们共进退。当晚阵容包括众多创始成员和友人，带着Giegling的情感和怀旧之情，我想应该没有比这更好的方法来结束新春音乐节了。
Transcending boundaries with their signature style, we welcome the Giegling collective to takeover the last two days of the festival for 2020. The long standing German music collective have forged a deep bond with TAG over the years, having brought their stripped back, melancholic sound to the club and beyond, even joining us during the Poly Centre lock out in 2018. With a stellar line up of founding members and friends that bursts with that Giegling emotion and nostalgia, there is no better way to conclude the festival.

Konstantin领航TAG x Giegling第一夜。Konstantin是魏玛（Weimar）集体的创始人之一，也是Kettenkarussell的二分之一，Kettenkarussell是首个在该厂牌上发行音乐的艺人组合。毫无疑问，他是Giegling运动的主脑之一。

Spearheading the first TAG x Giegling session is Konstantin. Co-founder of the Weimar collective and one half of Kettenkarussell, the first producers to be released on the label, Konstantin is undoubtedly the driving forces behind the Giegling movement.
He performs at TAG for the second time with support from long time confidante Cora and the one and only Zhiqi, founder of infamous underground Beijing dance establishment Zhao Dai. Ease into the future with introverted sounds for the head and heart.

德国民族剧作家、诗人歌德和席勒，世界著名音乐家巴赫和李斯特，包豪斯学派的开路先锋(亨利•凡•德•费尔德和瓦尔特•格洛佩斯)，这些显赫的名字站在前面，点缀了魏玛市之名。08年以后，一群年轻人用自己的电子音乐，为这座深林中的城市点亮了一片新的图景。他们站在前人的肩膀上，用音乐书写着自己的浪漫情怀，从魏玛向世界电子音乐版图中拼上了一块小小的拼图。也许没有人想过，这点点星光所传递的温暖能量，将在全球化的电子音乐场景中如此熠熠生辉。

Thriving in Weimar:
German national playwrights, poets Goethe and Schiller, world-renowned musicians Bach and Liszt, pioneers of the Bauhaus school (Henry van der Feld and Walter Gropes)... These prominent names embellished the name of Weimar. After 2008, a group of young people used their electronic music to shape a new scene for this city in the deep forest. They stood on the shoulders of their predecessors, writing their romantic feelings with music. From Weimar and beyond, they put a small puzzle into the world's electronic music masterplan. Perhaps no one has ever thought that the warm energy delivered by this little starlight will be so brilliant in the global electronic music scene.

2008年，魏玛市即将废弃的俱乐部Giegling，几个来自包豪斯学院的年轻人在这里举办了5个系列活动，每个都近乎4天之久。简陋的空间，借用来的音响设备和廉价的手工装饰品成为了这场如梦幻般旅途的首程车票。两个大厅，分别被Techno、House与Experimental、Electronica、Dub所充满。在音乐的涌动中，年轻人们在这里留下了属于自己的珍贵记忆。活动结束后Giegling俱乐部所在的老旧建筑被拆除，而Giegling最后的光景却让他们无法释怀，那是音乐包裹中的氛围，在人群中传递着真实的爱。这种真实的感受让他们决定将Giegling这个名字以另一种方式传承下去，就像这个名字来源的那首怀旧老歌一样，用音乐去留住那些难忘夜晚为他们带来的种种。

In 2008, in Weimar's soon abandoned club Giegling, several young people from the Bauhaus hosted 5 series of events there, each of which lasted almost 4 days. The humble space, borrowed audio equipment and cheap handmade decorations became the first shelter of this dreamlike journey. The two halls were filled with Techno, House, Experimental, Electronica, and Dub. In the name of music, young people have left their precious memories around every corner of the space. After these events, the old building where the Giegling Club was located got demolished, but the spirits of Giegling remained and thrived - the musical vibe and the lingering love in the crowd. These feelings motivated them to inherit the name Giegling in another way, just like the nostalgic old song from which the name originated. They decided to use music to retain those unforgettable nights.

2009年，他们制作的第一张唱片Kettenkarussell: I Believe You And Me Make Love Forever ‎(12")。与其他德产的电子音乐不同的是，这张唱片中流动着安静的诗意，仿佛是对之前Giegling作为俱乐部最后派对的朦胧印象，悠远而温柔的律动则是此时对彼刻出自心灵的纪念。也正如同魏玛市独特的恬静性格，内敛，淡雅却饱含着年轻的追求，善意与情愫。这张仅仅制作了300张的唱片的迅速售罄让他们更加坚定的继续谱写Giegling之梦，从此Giegling这本该属于一首歌的名字以唱片厂牌作为载体重新起航。

In 2009 Giegling produced their first album, Kettenkarussell: I Believe You And Me Make Love Forever (12"), recording and commemorating the feelings that once existed. Different from the noisy and high-profile Berlin, this small town is extremely quiet. The cultural heritage of the millennium is like a ghost in the streets of the city, seeking for creativity. 300 copies of the album were sold out immediately, which made them more determined to continue the dream of Giegling. Since then, the name of Giegling, which should have belonged to a song, has set sail with the record label as the carrier.

Giegling远远超乎一个唱片厂牌的意义，在其背后有着一个颇为整体的意识形态和美学体系。表面上看来，Giegling的价值观看起来相当的折衷，涵盖了从house、techno到slo-mo beats、instrumental hip-pop等各个领域中他们所喜欢的东西，更关键的是，有某种无法描述的东西将这些音乐形式联系在一起。近十年年来，Giegling的核心成员们仍追寻着Giegling club中生长出来的那个“不可说”，正是这种追寻塑造了Giegling的声音气质：那些蒙着尘土的Minimal House和Dub Techno，有着情绪的暗涌和灵性的追求。

Giegling goes far beyond the meaning of a record label. Behind it is a fairly integrated ideology and aesthetic system. On the surface, Giegling's values seem to be quite eclectic, covering everything they like, from house, techno to slo-mo beats, instrumental hip-pop, and more importantly, there is something that cannot be described, something that links these musical forms together. In the past ten years, the core members of Giegling are still pursuing the "unspeakable" that grew out of the Giegling club. It is this pursuit that has shaped the sound of Giegling: those dust-covered Minimal House and Dub Techno, with undercurrent emotions and spiritual pursuit.

Since 2010, the mysterious name Giegling began to appear on the playlist of many outstanding DJs, and by 2013 they have gained a large number of loyal fans. In September 2014, Giegling was ranked as the Label of the Month in the electronic music website Resident Advisor, and many electronic music media immediately paid them unprecedented attention. From Club Night in Berghain to Club der Visionäre, from Dekmantel to Unsound, this group of young people broke up like missionaries to travel around the world, spreading their unique ideas with their imagination and inner commitment, With the harvest from all over the world, howvever, they never travel far from where their original hearts are. This organic collective power has formed lasting creativity.

Giegling's value lies in its idealism, especially in today's slightly impetuous reality. This pursuit of romantic ideals is well reflected in the image of the label. Their record planning comes from thoughtful, highly artistic design wrapped with a heart-pleasing sound. Their output as a complete aesthetic concept is uncompromising.

Konstantin作为德国著名techno厂牌Giegling的联合创始人，在音乐造诣上是无可非议的。Giegling在成立厂牌前是一个在德国魏玛的学生俱乐部。是一个朋友聚会打桌球和廉价鸡尾酒的地方。直到老板决定干点事情，于是找到Konstantin寻找合作灵感，当时他还是Bauhaus大学的学生。当回忆起当年时，Konstantin说“那是一段无忧无虑无法无天的时期。我周四到周一基本都会在那里。奇迹都是在那里发生的，真正感受到音乐和社区感带给我的震撼。你听得越多，社区感越强，意识形态里越是能体会到这种归属感。”

学生时代的派对很快就到了尾声，但是Giegling却想要更多人感受到这种音乐魅力。“我们希望持续这种能量，保留这种氛围” Konstantin说“这就是Giegling厂牌的开始，人人都需要一支安魂曲。”

Konstantin, as the co-founder of Giegling, a renowned German techno label, is acclaimed in the scene. Giegling was a student club in Weimar, Germany before it became a label. It was a place for friends to play billiards and selling cheap cocktails. Until the owner decided to do something more, he turned to Konstantin for inspiration, and he was a student at Bauhaus University. When recalling that year, Konstantin said, "It was a carefree and lawless period. I was basically there from Thursday to Monday. Miracles all happened there and I really felt the sense of belonging in the community. The more you are here, the stronger you feel it, and the more you can feel this kind of belonging in your ideology. "The party in school was soon to end, but Giegling wanted more people to feel this musical charm . "We want to continue this energy and retain this atmosphere," Konstantin said. "This is the beginning of the Giegling label. Everyone needs a requiem."
